Bedrock Beliefs 

We believe: 

• God, who creates all things, creates us – in order to love and enjoy us.
• Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the one who sacrificed His life to save us from sin. He teaches and guides us, showing us the way to a right relationship with God, now and forever.  
• the Holy Spirit is God working constantly in the church and in the lives of each of us. 
• human beings are created in the image of God, with a spirit that can relate to Him.  He gives us free will to obey Him or rebel.  By accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior we can be saved from the consequences of our rebellion, which is sin.  
• our church is a group of believers who gather together for worship, celebration of the sacraments, prayer, fellowship, service to others, learning to live like Jesus, and helping others to do the same.  
• the Bible is a God-inspired collection of the faith-experiences of others through time that we use to know God and God's will.
